No suprises here. I will say this it's not like anyone else on the DL has been getting sacks this off season. But we hvae guys that are just as good if not better then him; so why continue on w/someone w/so little proven in his previous team?

Okoye is averaging one per. I'd say Peppers is just relaxing his way through the preseason nad will turn it on during the regular season. I have a feeling our front 4 will be sacking machines.

I personally wouldn't mind seeing Knox, Bennet and Hester out there.
i don't see why hester is getting a free pass, the guy is horrible and should only see the field on kick/punt returns or offensive gimmick plays. I mean i know "fans" are enjoying williams failing so they can have ammo to run him out of town. but hester is just terrible as a WR and you rarely see anyone question him.

IDk, probably because he's not mouthy. I have them listed in the order that I would want them to be 1, 2 and 3. I would actually like to our #4 or #5 guy step up and take hester's place at some point.

mouthy? i haven't heard RW run his mouth either. most of his comments have been jokes or sarcasm but sensitive bear fans can't take jokes or sarcasm. I have read many articles and i don't see where this whole "RW circus" as someone labelled it on the official forums comes from ... at least not with the bears.
hester on the other hand has been HANDED the starting job and for some reason he can't lose the job no matter how badly he performs, yet you "fans" never mention that. hester is a failed experiment that needs to end. he needs to take a pay cut and just go back to being a special teamer.

I expect a good showing our first game out. Atlanta's a tough team, but I think we'll do just fine.

This just in; Taylor hasn't been cut..................yet.
Chester Taylor still a Bear

Chalk this up to one of the most bizarre stories in recent memory. I was told this morning that the Bears had informed running back Chester Taylor that he would be released. Later on, his agent Ken Sarnoff posted this on his Twitter account: "Lovie Smith told Chester Taylor this morning that he Is being released.
"Chester thanks the Bears and their fans and wishes them well." Around noon, the Bears announced five players they released, to get to the NFL maximum of 75 players. Taylor was not among them.
In the Bears locker room, running back Khalil Bell held court for a few minutes, although he made clear he didn't know anything about Taylor.
Now, at 1:10 p.m., Sarnoff just wrote: "Here's a first for me - the Bears just called me and said they have NOT released Chester.
"He did talk with Lovie though...misunderstanding?"

Hester had a phenomenal camp. Even Cutler was raving about it so I wouldn't write him off just yet just because of one bad game. He isn't as bad as you think but he does need to keep himself more focused when he playing WR. It's not his hands that are his problem.
On the other hand it is his hands that are RWill's problem Slipscreen. His reputation for dropping passes is legendary and he proved it again Saturday by letting one get away that resulted in a pick. That goes against Cutler's stats but Roy was the reason it was picked.
Satistically he is the worst WR in the NFL when it comes to drops and catches less than 50% of the passes thrown to him. He's been an coddled, overpaid underperformer his entire career and he has a big mouth and a bad attitude to go along with his utter mediocrity. He can leave town this afternoon as far as I'm concerned because I haven't seen a damn thing from him since he got here that tells me it will be any different here than it had been in Dallas.

Anybody remember when Urlacher and Brown hit Cedric Benson so hard that he was out for a few weeks during practice? Can anyone see where I'm going with this? lol
