With Wootton injured and out for at least a month and little but two rookies behind Peppers and Izzy I was just wondering it the Bears may get in touch with him. We were all pretty sad to see him go. The guy was a great guy and although not the greatest pass rusher he would at least give us some vet depth so that they can leave the DT's at DT. What do you guys think?

He had a knack for knocking down balls with those big white mitts. I would love to see the move from a sentimental value but not sure what kind of numbers he would put up. Would be interested to see him with Peppers taking people on the other side.

Interesting. He knows the system. I don't think we can expect him to put up star-like numbers but he would be able to hit the ground running. I will say I always liked Alex.

I always thought he could have excelled opposite of Peppers given the chance before he was release last off-season.
I can only think of one game (@ Car) were Idonije had a standout game, but Peppers stole the attention away b/c of that solo INT.
Be interesting in what Angelo does...

I think every bears fan would welcome him back with open arms. Hands down one of my favorite Bears of all time.

As a Bear fan who is also a Gator fan, Alex Brown has always been one of my favorite players. If we're willing to take fliers on guys like Gholston and Roy Williams, we should definitely consider bringing AB back. I'm not sure how much he's got left in the tank at this point in his career, but you can rest assure that whatever he's got, you're gonna get all of it...and that's more than we can say for some of the guys we've got on the roster right now.

Early rumors have Carolina drawing some interest with Rivera welcoming AB back to his defensive squad.
I also hear Olin kicked AB off the team.
