It's not only his quickness but whether or not he can cover is also a huge factor in this defense. In a 3-4 he may be able to play LB but probably not in our 4-3. I still like what I've seen from him more than what I've seen from Addison though and there isn't a huge size difference between them. Couple of inches in height and about 12-15 lbs in weight. The Broncos Elvis Dumervil is about Reeds size and he's a monster pass rusher.

Obviously the more dynamic of the two ( Addison seems like your typical DE ) so the potential for more big plays lies with Reed....... yet, he prob wouldn't see the field much at all so who's better on ST ? Reed ( he's faster ). And his sack totals in college suggest he's more of a play-maker. Guess it's pound the table time for one of the coaches, ( as in which coach wants either player more ). We'll see. Neither may even make the team.

I think we could keep both for now and sort it out when Wootton returns. That means one less roster spot somewhere else but we can probably shuffle someone on to the PS and then either Addison of Reed too when Wootton is up to speed. I just like the way Reed plays. He's like a bullet coming of the ball and he knows how to disrupt now. He's not just learning how, he knows how. As badly as we need guys who can bring pressure and get sacks we need Reed. He's that fit.
