At least we have a solid O-line...er...
At least we have a respectful WR corp...er...
At least the Packers and Saints will not be passing the ball all over the field on us because our secondary is so strong...er...
Nevermind...

Your defense is better than the Saints. Offense not so much. But your d always plays the Pack hard regardless of who is playing on it. High scoring games between our teams are few and far between.

Season hasn't even started and you're giving up already. Why don't you at least wait until we play these guys before you automatically chalk the games up as losses?

It's not like our D held to the Packers to under 14 points/game last year or anything. And we've had absolutely no success defending this high powered Saints offense in the past either... right?
Worrying about the O is reasonable, but thinking the D will get crushed isn't as much. Is it possible the Saints and Packers light us up? Sure. But I'll give the D the benefit of the doubt. They've earned it.

I am worried, but I am not throwing my hands up and giving the Bears automic loses. You never know the offense may surprise us and the d may crush any offense that line ups against them. We just have to wait and see. I would love to see a d like we had in 05. A d that not only crushed the offense, but they were putting up points.

The Packers are who we thought they were....
But yeah, the difference between us and the Saints, is that we play the Packers twice every year, and its always a slugfest. Packers are a good team, but so are the Bears (least we forget who actually WON this division last year, and which one squeaked into the playoffs). Yes, Packers went on to win it all and embarrass us in the NFC Championship game, but just like every year: regular season doesnt mean squat come January.

Guarantee that got everyone's attention.
What should you call any : Fumble , Hold , Interception , Three and out , or Sack ?
A " F.H.I.T.S " ? or a J'Marcus ?

I wish the media would talk more about how emBEARassing we made Rodgers look last year. He looked lost against our D, even after he shredded the Falcons in the playoffs everyone was saying Chicago won't contain him and we made him look bad yet again. Give this D some credit.

at the same time we saw the pack defense get shredded. I think we just will see sloppier football earlier on.
