That is sheer badassery. I don't know that I'd be able to leave the house w/out breaking down 2 days after a parent died.
But if your job was putting on protective gear and hitting people as hard as you can for millions you may reconsider. I can't think of a better way to cope.
Gonna be hard for him. I lost my dad in March but we all knew it was coming. Brian's mom passed quickly and it sounds like he didn't get to say goodbye. She looks very young and this will take some time for him to get through it but something tells me he'll be in new Orleans on sunday.

And nobody here is saying Brian should play on Sunday, so there's no need for all this anger against people who are "whining' or saying that, when nobody is.
My condolences to you and your family, VMX. It's hard enough to let go of a loved one when you see it coming, but yes, when it's unexpected and sudden (like my mom and one of my sisters) you feel blind sided. As for Jimmors' comment, I didn't see any "anger" expressed in this thread nor it directed towards anyone in particular. I think it's safe to say that more people would understand if he didn't play on Sunday than those that would complain about it. Whatever he chooses, God bless him.
