Kruetz just admitted to having a "fair" deal offered by the Bears. My guess is that he thought the bottom would fall out this year, and wanted more money to hang around. Hopefully we do like the Jets did once Kevin Mawae did, and just truck on without him. They eventually got a great C in Mangold, so if we can make due with what we have, we'll be fine.

I heard we offered Kreutz 4 mil.
He wanted 4.5 mil and we said adios.
Then he signed with N.O. for 2 mil.
Is this true?
We do have the Center from Seattle just in case.
OK if its not broke dont fix it but a second rounder in PAEA ...
youd like to see a little of somthing that he has for that high of a pick.
One series at the end of the game?

I think, with him, that it was more of a matter of feeling not respected than money. They waited to the last minute to contact him, and then gave him a one hour window to take the deal or to walk away.

After the game if yer Cutler you take a big plug of CHAW, chew it up real good and spit in the faces of your Offensive Line for electing you the HUMAN BOWLING PIN of the game.
