I don't think NO was doing anything special defensively, it was the same old problem of Jay holding the ball too long, the Bears not having a true possession receiver to go to on short stuff & the o-line being the same old sieve. The Mike Martz offensive system does not suit the talents of this offensive group.
    .

So hiking the ball to JC is our downfall?
Held the ball too long? Really? The OL SUCKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's just that simple.

No much like last week, JC was responcible for at least 2 of the sacks, and probably a couple hits too. But at the end of the day, the Ol is the primary problem. Martz's style of O will give your QB a lot of hits though, Warner and Prohel both said so much after we hired him in interviews on the Score.

the oline wasnt the only problem. We have weak weapons. Forte had more catching yards then our entire wrs speaks volumes

we are a team run by a gm that invests the money in the special teams and defense. You expect a high powered offense with junk investment there? It will work here and there but not consistently. We need a go to wr and that isnt in our plans anytime soon

btw with Carimi hurt we now have the two worst olinemen from last season starting on our oline this year. We are on pace for 80 sacks.

Having an OC that can't adjust on the fly and is known to run a sack crazy offense is not helping anything.
Without weaponz it's just another airline!

Why is this reminding me of the 05 season?

I really thought the BEARS would win this game (or look good) and then MAYBE lose next week against GB, still 2-1. but after today good teams = loses, crappy teams maybe= wins. WOW am I upset, sorry.

Yeah, of the first three games, I thought this one was going to be the one we'd win for sure. Without seeing the game, I can't really comment on much, but I have lost faith in Martz to come from behind and win a game. His gameplanning from behind is shit... all pass, 7 step drops, etc.
