Bears are who we thought they were

Good to see our OL holding us back....AGAIN. And seeing how they wont be fixing the OL THIS year...the sky is falling, this season is done. Yeah thats right...im throwing in the towel on this Bears team. Ill still watch games, but not going to get too excited over them.

Sure...we might finish with a decent record and flirt with the playoffs...but we wont be going any farther then that until they fix this OL for real.

Sad too, since there is alot of talent on this team.
Matt Forte = ELITE RB. Going to have a Pro-bowl year this year i think. Might get snubbed by bandwagon fans, but definitely deserves one, and a pay day.

JA lies, our qb dies. He said it all started w/the QB and we fell for it. Fact is it all starts w/the OL, and this proves it. Week OL limits what we can do on O, hence a lot of screens and dump offs. Sound familiar; it should for all those that blamed our last qb/oc(me included). But those two knew what our new qb/oc didn't, this OL cannot protect long enough to do anything more then screens and dumpoffs.

We are scquandering a great D, QB and RB w/this crapfest of an OL and that falls straight on the HC and GM who have not invested a quality OL. How the hell did GB score 40 on the NO D and we canot score 2 TD's?!?!?!?! Also how bad is Atl that we scored 20+ on them; and are they that bad that good teams will score more?

Per usual, if we don't get multiple TO's we don't stand a good chance of winning. We live w/them and die w/out them.

I'm not throwing in the towel yet, this is a good NO team that needed a win, and was at home. But if we don't end up 2-2 after the first 4 games we are done. And btw, if we have no threat of a run game, this OL CANNOT defend Cutler for even 3 seconds, hence the 4th quarter.

Cannot wait to hear Starky out here calling us chicken little and not real fans after he all but guaranteed we would wipe the floor against this bad D and how our D would just shut them down like we did GB last year.

I disliked the post, only because I hate to admit that I think you might be right. This OL is a flaming pile of dog crap, sitting on a packer fan's trailer stoop.

Me, on May 17th in reference to JA actually doing something in FA to improve our OL....

I have plenty reason to believe this won't be the case this season. I'd bet all my Bears bucks on it not happening.

the play calling & the early abandonment of the running game really puzzled me. I think that played right into the Saints hands.

I don't think NO was doing anything special defensively, it was the same old problem of Jay holding the ball too long, the Bears not having a true possession receiver to go to on short stuff & the o-line being the same old sieve. The Mike Martz offensive system does not suit the talents of this offensive group.

Looked pretty bad out there at WR today too. It felt like the practice squad was playing.

Considering how much we gave up for Cutler, to not go all out in subsequent drafts and free agencies to adequately protect our investment... criminal, stupid, irresponsible... take your pick.

And now to top it all off... Carimi, one of the minority on the OL showing potential, the long awaited first round tackle, goes down and we're left with Omiyale... kind of sums up the mess that Angelo has left us in.

Did you not see the oline?? This was not a cutler issue...

The critics are right, we are not a contender. I think I'm starting to doubt why I get sucked in every Sunday to watch... The bears looked like a scab team.. seriously...

Greg Williams blitzes more than 99% of other defensive coordinators.. why would today be different?

Love, go find some other city to suck in.. man I can't wait for him to leave..

There is not a defense in the league that would love to play against this crappy o-line. I say get rid of Martz, keep Tice and blow up JA.
Without weaponz it's just another airline!
I am here to chew bubble gum and kick butt and I am all out of bubble gum!
