Our two best WR didn't play
IMO the only WR that can handle physical defense is RW and Bennett. Knox and hester disappeared today. Sanz is just too small. I hope one of them can play next week.

Sound like we the BEARS are never given respect for a WIN, the other TEAM had >>>>>>>> missing from the line up, and the BEARS were lucky to have that happen. It's a TEAM and that just sounds like the BEARS are under STAFFED at receiver to me
. Cant have it both ways in my eyes.

Until I see evidence to the contrary I won't buy into the fact that RWill is any better or any more physical than anyone else we have at WR. Aside from his lousy rep for drops his stats on the number of catches versus the number of times he was targeted tell me that he either is covered and fairly easily defended or that his route running leave a lot to be desired. The doesn't even come close to catching 50% of the balls that come his way.
As long as JA continues to ignore good offensive talent and allow Mike Martz to place orders for the players he wants this will continue to happen. There were any number of good Olineman and established WR's with a much better rep than RWill yet this is the path he chose and now we're stuck with it. Or should I say Jay Cutler is stuck with it.
This is the third year in a row that we have failed to surround him with what he needs to become the QB we needed him to become when we traded for him. One more year of this shit and I give up until the Bears get someone with enough offensive knowledge to actually build one. This crap just goes on and on and on and on.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

Roy was fine in the Atlanta game. He even had a catch where he used his size to catch it over someone. No drops so far this season.

I thought Forte was our best WR... Also thought the best real WR was Knox. That's what everyone was bitching about when the depth chart came out anyway.

so what they didnt play Colston didnt play for NO and Brees still lit us up

Oh yeah, we had an undrafted rookie score our only TD.

I like some of the WR's we have,I often wonder if it's the coaching, the players may be brain dead for all I know,
Hester and Knox have been in the system for a while now,I'm just not seeing them improve and show that they
can run the routes, come back to the QB;etc.
These guys have speed and quickness, yet they can't seem to get open,I ask myself why?
Sanz has shown me that he has potential to be a slot/possession type reciever in time.
On a side note, what the heck is Martz doing running Hester on a corner route in the end zone?
He sure isn't going to outjump anyone, where's the upside?
I've seen that play several times, with virtually the same results...wasted play.
