Don't know about good, but the only one that would take the job.

My knee hurts just reading that.

The ACL & the PCL are usually torn in an injury like this so I hope it's being overstated. If not then he is done for the season and it could be a long time b4 he can come back 100 % . Hope there's different news tomorrow. This SUX !
What should you call any : Fumble , Hold , Interception , Three and out , or Sack ?
A " F.H.I.T.S " ? or a J'Marcus ?

Wonder what the revamped line will look like for G.B.?

Just what I was thinking although I think Colombo's deal was a total destruction of the knee. I think he had both ACL and MCL tears. Whatever the deal I hope they let Carimi take time to heal and not rush it. There's no sense in risking his career even if it means more of OMG in his place.
I'm not giving up on the season but as it stands unless we either stay healthy or backup guys really step up their play we'll lose ground guaranteed. The offense isn't deep enough in talent to withstand any injuries of significance and so far we have Barber, RWill, Louis and now Carimi sidelined. Those are some really crucial losses.

Not all that surprising given the shortened offseason. This should give them a pretty good idea of what will happen if they go to 18 games. If the NFL pushes that then the players should push for a higher salary cap and an expanded roster. They'll need it.

It all pretty much comes down to that comment that some writer put down a while back. "You don't hire Mike Martz to fit in".
I was 100% against hiring him in the first place. Why hire a pass crazy OC for a run oriented team? This team will not have a successful offense with Mike Martz pulling the strings and making worthless personnel decisions. In a way he's not all the disimilar from McDaniels and what he did in Denver. He's another "my way of the highway" coach who won't change unless you force him to. Well they need to force it because I'd rather have Martz pouting than Cutler. Martz doesn't have to take 15 or more hits a game. Maybe if he did he'd moderate his play calling some.
Mike Martz is another of those "Air Coryell" disciples and he's living in the past and off a reputation he made 10 years ago and hasn't repeated since. He isn't now and never will be the right OC for this team. Fvck the Oline and the WR's. We'll never win a Super Bowl with Mike Martz as an OC as long as he runs this offense. Cutler will be lucky to last two more years at this rate and that would be a total waste of a great talent. We finally get a franchise QB and then surround him with incompetence and too little talent. Re-sign Matt Forte now and then go out and find about four more offensive skill players who can play at his level and with his heart.

Clay Matthews must be over the frigging moon to hear he's up against both Omiyale and our resident imbecile OC, the lover of seven step drops behind the worst OL in football. We finally get a "franchise" qb, had to mortgage two drafts to do it, and ever since Jerry has seemed intent on breaking him.
Someone please tell me how the hell he is still in a position to ruin the Bears. It just doesn't make any sense. Even the Cubs eventually got rid of Hendry.

Chicago Bears rookie offensive tackle Gabe Carimi has a subluxation -- which is a partial dislocation -- of the right kneecap, which is less severe than what was originally believed, according to a source familiar with the situation.
Carimi still could miss time, but a source Monday thought the injury was a dislocated knee, which would have been more serious.
