He kind of muttered and said well Troy, Joe, and Pam, doing the Bears/Packers game this week so it's not the same team that made the error so it wouldn't make as much sense to have them issue the blah blah blah........
Sure we'll see more Cutler isolation shots.

Someone should be fired over that BS.
Making up false headlines that they reported "ran in papers". Passing that shit off as fact?
I was at the game so I did not see this bullshit that aired. Please tell me they attributed the articles to specific newspapers.

Of course not. Never admit you're wrong where people would actually notice it! Just like the newspaper printing a retraction of an erroneous headline on page 23, in the first column, bottom of the page where statistically the fewest readers would find it. Fox is a trashy station with basically trashy programming. All I ever watch on FOX is football.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

Great, now I know for sure I'll have the sound off. These guys wouldn't get off the Bears case all game last week. I respect Aikman's knowledge of the game but when he's teamed with Buck you know it's gonna be a "let's trash the Bears" extravaganza.

More or less whenever the Packers are playing those two will be kissing Rodgers' ass so much throughout the game, it's hard to understand them.

Fox apologizes on air for fake Cutler headlines
Fox Sports issued an on-air apology Sunday for using fabricated newspaper headlines critical of quarterback Jay Cutler on its season-opening Chicago Bears broadcast.
As a Tribune report detailed last Sunday, the Fox telecast flashed three ficticious headlines across the screen -- "Cutler Leaves With Injury," "Cutler Lacks Courage" and "Cutler's No Leader" -- that Fox color analyst Daryl Johnston described as "actual headlines from the local papers in Chicago." A Tribune search yielded no such headlines in any newspaper in the United States.
Fox studio analyst Curt Menefee apologized during Fox's NFL Sunday pregame show.
"Before we move on, I want to go back to Week 1, during the Atlanta-Chicago broadcast, when our production crew that was doing that game displayed an incorrect graphic," Menefee said. "Now, the production team told our announcer Daryl Johnston that a taped video package that made air came from actual headlines concerning Bears quarterback Jay Cutler's performance during last year's NFC Championship Game. While in fact, they were not. FOX Sports regrets this mistake and apologizes to Cutler, the Chicago Bears organization and everyone involved"
