I am so tired of Angelo and would love for him to be gone after the season.

Waddle and Silvy I think said it best when they said that he violates your football common sense.

I am just glad that in the same breath he did not try again to convine us that Devin Hester is a #1 WR.
Bingo, bingo, ding a fvckin' ling. That is exactly what he's doing when he tries to pawn this bullshit off on us. One of two things is true; 1) he simply won't take the heat for his offseason failures, or 2) he actually believes what he's saying which does violate all common sense.

"We got eyes Jerry. We can see what's happening out there and we know why". Jesus, how stupid do you think we are. It doesn't take a pedigree in NFL coaching to see that your paint by numbers Oline is not gonna get good fast enough to do us any good. Especially now that two of the best, but still very inexperienced five, are out or hampered by injuries.

Frank Omiyale is statistically the worst pass blocking OT in the entire NFL and he's now a starter all because you couldn't score even one experienced Olineman in FA except Spencer who you only signed because you didn't sign Kruetz. Don't even think of putting that score on your board. JA blew it and if it isn't as obvious to him as it is to just about anyone else who follows football the guy should be demoted to washing jackstraps tomorrow.

Jerry is reaping what he sowed. Before Carimi, Jerry thought that a good OL coach could fix his mess. Too big an ask.

When most people need a crap they head to the toilet. Angelo calls for an interview with Larry Mayer.
I think there were two problems with the Colon deal one of which you hit on. $3 mil more, especially if it wasn't guaranteed, was not enough incentive for Colon to make a move away from the superior coaching and management he has in Pitt. When you ask a guy to leave a Super Bowl team to help shore up a sinking ship of a line you need to dig a little deeper than that.

I think the second issue was that we were probably gonna play him at RG, not his traditional position at RT. By the time FA begain the Bears had made it pretty clear that Carimi would play RT and Webb LT. So where does Colon play? I think JA already had plans to shed Olin and move Garza if he couldn't get Olin for his price. Colon was the plug in vet at RG if Garza was moved to OC and I can almost guarantee you that's what they planned and why Colon stayed put. The guy wasn't exactly leaving a bad situation was he?
