Roy Williams will be playing on Sunday
He had full participation in practice yesterday. Hopefully Barber joins the active crowd too. We need as much help as possible to beat the superbowl champs. GO BEARS!!!!

As long as he can catch, we're good to go. We need somebody other than Knox, Sanzabah and Hester to go out there. Too predictable, and Sanzabah (as of now) is a poor man's Bennett.
EDIT: Although Bell has looked good (two amazing runs called back by hold calls), I think with a more balanced approach (giving Lovie the benefit of having threatened Martz), we might get more dynamic run plays with this offense.

Before the season this would not have excited me near as much as it does now. He looked good the first game, and we are in dire need of him w/out bennett.

We need to get Barber back. He looked so damn good in the preseason. Even then Bell deserves some carries. Somebody ought to shoot whoever gets called for holding on a run. I know it was Webb in that first one for 26 yards but I don't recall the other.
Bell is actually a nice change of pace back for Forte. He does a much better job of stepping through the trash inside. Forte has that long stride and needs more space to get yardage inside than Bell does. Bell seems to do a better job of finishing his runs too.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

My only problem with Bell isn't with Bell at all. It's the fact that he's ONLY in the game when we're gonna run the ball. If he can't catch, that's one thing, but this offense can't be so predictable with sending our backup RBs in.

bell isnt what is going to make or break us
it would be nice to have Barber out there who is a perfect compliment to Forte
If Roy Williams holds onto the ball he can only help since he is the only wr we have that wont be jammed at los. Our other wrs are wimps without Roy they will be smothered all day

Bell can catch and he can block but so far they haven't used him that way because I'm sure Martz perfers Forte as a pass catcher. Martz is constantly misusing guys so what else is new? For certain calls Bell is actually a better choice.

There's no assurance they won't jam him too. He gets very frustrated when DB's upset his routes and all that has to happen is one good shot from a Safety before he grows alligator arms. He may help but not all that much. At least that what I believe until I see different.

Why does my team always have to be the team whose WR's have so much trouble getting open ? I don't see that happen with other teams . Our guys have the same variations in terms of size, speed ( probably even more ), pedigree etc ... essentially the SAME athletes that other teams have . Actually better "on paper" right ? Yet our guys are the ones who have the most trouble getting open. It's either a PR- hand-job, or our guys know that Lovie is such an easy-going coach that they can get away with being slackers. But no REAL competetive athlete would approach his job that way right ? So, it must be a PR hand-job. No wait .... it's probably both. Seems to be alot of that going on the past 2 seasons round here.
When Ditka arrived back in 82 he told the team " Were gonna find out who really wants to play this game " and half the team got their walking papers ( too many PRETENDERS collecting paychecks ). Putting an end to the BS ( he had put up with for too long ) was Papa Bears idea when he hired him. And Walter finally got his SB ring.
There IS alot of talent on this team . But I wonder if the guys coaching them really know how to get it out of them. Ain't throwing in the towel yet. But if the talent gets squandered ..... then they have to go. It'll be time to try someone else. The REAL football players on this team deserve that much.
What should you call any : Fumble , Hold , Interception , Three and out , or Sack ?
A " F.H.I.T.S " ? or a J'Marcus ?

We really needed RW against the Saints. I'm glad he's back (I never thought I'd say that).
