If after his failure to secure the Oline this offseason at very least JA also blows this extension for Forte then he needs to go now, not in 2013. I will personally write letters to George McCaskey encouraging it if Phillips won't do it. Right now the Oline is in even worse shape than it was at this time last year and we're into the toughest part of our year. Neither JA or Lovie have the faintest idea of how to build and coach an offense.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

Whatta ya' want to be they end up franchising him when they still can't get it done. If they thought he was over pricing himself before what's gonna happen if he puts up 1800+ yards total offense this year?

Jerry Angelo is probably thinking that Forte is going to hold him hostage like Briggs did in 2007. Frankly, I hope he does.

unless he's asking top 5 money, franchising him is stupid. If that is their idea, so is JA. Pay him between the lower of the two AP/CJ and more then Gore/D Will, and a little closer to the D/Will/Gore one and get it F'n done.
None of those rb's deal w/near the bs OL/OC that Forte does and he is still putting up their #'s. JA obviously stands for jackass.
