Barber will be key
in us making a run to the playoffs. If he stays healthy the rest of the season after his return, I could see us winning at least 9 games. I guarantee we won't have another rushing performance under 10 yards

If he plays next week and the rest of the season, we still will not make the playoffs. Not with an OL that can not run block worth shit

How many other elite backs rushed for 1 yard in a game?
Elite backs make plays, with or with out good lines.

hows about 46 carries for 98 yards through 3 games. 2.1 average, 0 TDs. Would you consider that elite?

Barry Sanders did it with a -1 vs the packers in the playoffs. 13 carries for -1 yards. I also believe walters first game he only ran for a couple of yards.

no back can make plays when the D hits him as the ball is handed off to him. not even barry sanders. And I remember very clearly a game against Det where we had Barry for neg yardage at the half....think he only had 13 carries that game? No, they kept feeding him the ball; b/c the dirtly little secret about rb's is that they need 20-30 carries to get that 4yrc average b/c they are going to get stufffed or only get a short gain a good portion of the time....ecspecially w/a bad OL...but they will break off a handfull of mid range runs, and a few big gains. No Elite RB that gets hit behind the line of scrimmage on all his carries is going to gain a lot of yards. not one.
Not to mention GB admitted they sold out to stop Forte, they let our "franchise" qb try and beat him....which is why he had the protection he did...and he couldn't. But we sure to hell paid him didn't we.
