This is my biggest fear we are breaking our QB. When a QB has given up on his OL and does not trust them then it is all over.

I don't blame him. Every game he's put into the turf while Jerry Angelo is watching and counting all his money that wasn't put towards an actual offensive line.

Or put into a Forte extension.

I believe the real indictment of Jerry Angelo is not that he could not draft or find a franchise QB, but now he is close to actually destorying the one that he finally got.
If I am Ted Phillips I am losing my mind over the fact that the guy I am building this team around is almost a shell of himself.

I thought everyone here loved Webb and Tice's fairy dust lmfao
This oline and offense as a whole stinks cause our investment is in defense and special teams.

Well...at least he isnt demanding to be traded. Yet.
-
Would you blame any player demanding to be traded right now?

I partially do; he’s certainly not without some blame of his own...Jay holds the ball way too long at times and has questionable to lousy pocket presence...what, a good 1/3, 1/4 of the sacks Jay takes are on him...I am not saying the OL is all-pro and can’t/shouldn’t be made better, but Jay has a part in all these sacks as well...
Cutler is suppose be a leader on this team....his not-so subtle public figure pointing is troubling imho...I don’t like it...
Reductio ad absurdum...it's how we roll...

Yeah Jay holds the ball too long sometimes, and those sacks are his fault. But what about the others? He's consistently being steam rolled by defenders and one of these days he's going to snap.
