Two observations from yesterdays game
1. Listening to post game comments from the offensive players it sounds like Tice is the OC
2. Under the radar, it looks like Roy Williams has been benches for Knox. RW has not started a game since coming back frok injury

Matt Forte should be in contention for this new NFL Player of the Year Award. Without him, the Bears wouldn't have much of an offense.

win is a win!
I was at the game yesterday and its nice to view the game from the stands versus the tv to get a true perspective of what's truly going on out there. Our safeties are small and slow, receivers are terrible, tackling is horrible. And our quarterback needs to get in the face of his ok and quit saying the right things for the media. Carolina was a shifty team that we barely beat. Instead of bears vs. panthers...it should have been newton vs. forte.

Martz sit in the booth and relays the plays down to the field where they're called in. From what has been said he may send down more than one call. Maybe Tice was intercepting those calls and giving Cutler only the running plays. You said Martz looked unhappy after the game and that may be why.
As for the Knox vs Williams thing. Johnny Knox has a long way to go before he becomes a true #1 threat but at least he plays his ass off out there and plays like he want to start whereas RWill plays like it's practice and he simply deserves to start because he's Roy Williams.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.
