In all honesty, people are surprised (because I wear my bears fandom on my sleeve) that I don't froth at the mouth when we lose. I say look "It's 53 guys that I have no active part of, and can't change the outcome of what they're doing, so why should I let it bother me THAT much?" I'm even the type that makes jokes with fans of the other team if the Bears are doing stupid Martz type shit. During the 2nd loss to the packers last year, i was drinking with a packers buddy and making fun of the bears fans at the bar for crying and trying to start an argument. One actually came up to me and took my hat off and said I don't deserve to wear it. I told that co**suck** to "give me my hat back, and that if the Bears weren't interested in winning the game, then i'm gonna find entertainment in it somewhere, now give me my ****** hat back"


EDIT: the drunken, annoying bears fans there reminded me of the attitude that is sometimes bandied about on this board against those who don't overreact to every single loss....(not pointing fingers at people, just thought patterns)

I understand what you are saying. BUT...these are some of the things that rub me the wrong way about this team:

1. This is EXTREMELY superficial, but, I just want to wipe the smile off of those smug, toothless, inbred Packer fans. I am already MORE sick of hearing about Rodgers than I am Favre. It just makes me sick how much better the Packers are operated than the Bears.
2. I buy jerseys, hats, mugs...etc...!!! I am spending my hard earned money and SUPPORTING this team financially. And with that being said, I am not sure I would ever take my family to see a Bears game. As a family of (4), it would cost me about $450 (minimum) for a single game. (4) tickets @ $80 per = $320. Possibly $30 for parking = $350. That gives me about $100 for food and some foam fingers. I am NOT spending that to watch some half-ass team go through the motions.
3. The Bears believe we are stupid. Lovie REALLY thought his defense out-played the Panthers...??? REALLY...??? They try to tell us that our WR's are the "bee's knees". Whatever that means...?!? They make C's play G, and, G's play center. We use an overall 14th draft pick on a T to have him play G. Sure they sign Peppers, but, they also signed the likes of Archuleta, Manuamaluna, Roy Williams, and Chester Taylor. The infamous "press conference". They make is SO F'ING hard to believe that they know what they are doing...!!!

That is mostly what twists my cap about this organization...!!!

Yes, it’s expensive/difficult as hell to take a family of 4 to see a game....and only gets worse the better they play...
Yes, I think we all question the intelligence and competence of this coaching staff and front office...
