I don't think he is tradeable IMO we gave up a lot for him and we've seen flashes we just need to surround him with a legit #1 WR and some serious line help. Bears are his childhood team I couldn't think of a place he'd rather play and I hope they get him back to Pro Bowl form.
I think what you mean is the Bears probably don't want to trade him and I'd agree. But as far as 'tradeable' goes he absolutely is. I'd bet that 3/4ths of the league would love to have him and believe they could do a better job with him than the Bears have.
What should you call any : Fumble , Hold , Interception , Three and out , or Sack ?
A " F.H.I.T.S " ? or a J'Marcus ?

Right but I was saying more from an organizational standpoint of being untradeable with an aging defense and the Forte debacle they are not really setup with anyone else besides Cutler, and I think he's too young still to just let him go away. You will not get what you paid for him at this point and because of that he stays.

Which is why they should use their first 5 picks next year on O-linemen ( and no I'm not joking ). It HAS to be THE priority next year ( or two ) until they get it right. Any other approach is a waste of time. Whatever I sound like a broken record and this is all a moot point if JA isn't fired at the end of the season anyways.

Unfortunately they actually do need D help next year too. LB's/DB's/DL are all either not starter worthy or are getting to old to play at a high level. JA has taint kicked this team to death; they'll have to start from scratch at this point.
No you don't trade away your only franchise qb, that you traded 2 firsts, a 3rd and a player for when you couldn't get 1/2 that in return; unless he demands it.

Are you crazy? We haven't had a decent QB in over 25 years and you ask if he should be traded. Hell no! Fire Angelo and Martz to start with and get somebody in here who can build and operate an offense around him before he's ruined.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

Right. And he's still young enough to build your team around. Nothing says that the second half of his career can't be excellent. Just get him what he needs already !

The organization is too stupid to find the right person and replace numbnutz and company. Martz is not the problem because JA can't draft worth a shit and he lacks the ability to sign good free agents to fix his offense. He has to break the bank to land someone. The same shit we see with Martz is happening with Rod Marinelli except he has talent on defense yet we are ranked at the bottom. Lovie needed to go 2 years ago when he took over the defense and failed yet after last years season the organization did something stupid and signed him to a contract extension. Lovie gets outcoached in big games and lacks the ability to realize that his qb is taking a beating yet keeps playing him.

Soul, do you realize how long it will take to completely rebuild the offense? Do you think Cutler will be willing to wait that long? Do you think he wants to stay behind a dysfunctional offensive line that apparently has a fetish with seeing Jay on his back?
I have a bad feeling he is going to bolt when his contract is up after the 2012 season, which is why I ask.

I'm not so sure about this, if you look at the moves on offense over the last 2 seasons they appear to reek of Martz stench. Personally I think Mike Martz was allowed too much control bringing in what he thought were his fits (Roy Williams) instead of getting quality improvements (Malcom Floyd).
