They won't fire him, you watch. So everybody prepare to hunker-down with the realization that things are not going to change until the front office decides to get serious. First by bringing in a GM who can actually build a team by drafting good players and second by bringing in better coaches.
I'm convinced that the family sees this team as their cash cow; that it's a business first / make money mindset with WINNING A CHAMPIONSHIP a distant second. Just keep the luxury boxes full , keep the drones walking through the turnstiles, and sell sell sell merchandise in the stores and over the net.
So this team should be looked at as a 3hr diversion on Sundays nothing more . A chance to drink some beers, eat a few nachos and get whatever entertainment you can out of it. Maybe someday we'll all be able to take this team seriously again, but not until the front office gets serious first.
So settle-in all. It's gonna be a long one.

No you don't trade away your only franchise qb, that you traded 2 firsts, a 3rd and a player for when you couldn't get 1/2 that in return; unless he demands it.

Valid point about the D needing to be re-built. I'd rather they keep Cutler, get the Oline rebuilt in a hurry to keep him healthy, add a couple of good WR's ( I hear Brandon Marshall wants out ) ,and just try and win shootouts 35-31 for a few years while they rebuild the D ( offense is more fun to watch than defense anyways). Least this way we keep Cutler around.

( now watch them do the exact opposite .... and we'll get to watch some 3rd stringer come here and play QB. Yay )
