All I know is this: there are some major chemistry issues going on in the Bears' locker room right now that are spilling over onto the field. If they want to have a chance at making the playoffs, they had better get a major attitude adjustment and "get with the program" because they do not have the talent to coast by on sheer skill alone without making some major adjustments.

But on Best's run it was him, I watched it, and it was right after than this discussion took place. If not him then who and if they don't know what needs fixing how does it get fixed? To me it looks like panic is setting in.

I loved that line and the circumstances from which it came.

I'm not saying it wasn't him that blew the play. But I got this recorded and I've watched it enough times. He starts by saying " it's not you" then he turns his head says some more then faces forward again and ends with " it's not you " again. It's as easy to see as someone saying fuck. So I don't know who Lach was blaming but in that clip it wasn't Briggs. He was just probably trying to help the guy not lose his confidence.
What should you call any : Fumble , Hold , Interception , Three and out , or Sack ?
A " F.H.I.T.S " ? or a J'Marcus ?

I get ya' and some where along the line one of the Safeties should have been able to stop him but it wasn't the Safeties responsibility to come up and fill that gap to begin with. It was Briggs. You can see him read and immediately jump outside like he was expecting the DE and NT to pinch to fill that gap and they shot straight upfield which is what they're supposed to do I think. Briggs has to read that and if they leave a cutback lane fill it and he didn't. At least that's what I got out of it.

Personally I didn't see it as him yelling at Briggs. It looked like they were passionately recanting what they saw from the play under crowd noise. You have to remember, these guys don't have the bird's eye view that we have. I don't believe they saw any photos of the play before that point. So they were probably going over what happened and what should have happened. The adrenaline was flowing.

I didn't see it as yelling at him either but they had to be discussing who left a hole so big that 3 guys could have run through it. Whatever is going on teams have a way to gore us up the middle figured out. I still think it's putting us in nickel and knowing how fast Briggs and Urlacher react running cutback schemes against them where the LB's are trapped away from the gap.

I don't know if Urlacher was yelling at him, but when I said there is some chemistry issues earlier, I was intending to suggest the outside the lines influences on the team itself, such as Briggs wanting a pay raise (which I feel is still the reason why he is not sticking to his assignments), the Forte contract dispute, Roy Williams, Mike Martz, and the media lashing out at the Bears front office and coaching staff for the poor play and the lack of talent or the perception of developing talent. I tend to agree with the notion that Urlacher didn't scold Briggs on the sideline, but at the same time, I don't know if Briggs has his head screwed on straight or not since he's very vocally made demands for a pay raise.

We all knew those unresolved contract issue would come into play. Briggs isn't doing himself any favors with his play but with Forte it's just the opposite. Maybe that's the difference between a "standup guy" and one who isn't. I think there's a very good chance that come February or so Mr Briggs will get his wish to play eslewhere.
