Well, either one of us could volunteer to conduct the search. We couldn't do worse than Angelo could we? When Angelo goes Ruskell needs to go with him. His track record in the draft is as bad or worse. Maybe the solution is to do what Bowlen did with the Bronco front office and split the job into two parts.

Their GM Brian Xanders oversees the day to day football operations but the team and it's coaches and player personnel is what Elway was brought in to oversee. That's why you're seeing so many offer to trade coming from them. He's scrambling to pick up draft choices to rebuild with and/or get into the Andrew Luck Sweepstakes.

Angelo needs to be gone period, he's pissed off too many for too long, but if Ruskell is a good operations guy then let him do that but get a good personnel man with tons of NFL experience and success to run that process both at the pro and college levels. If I owned this team that's what I'd do. Don't let the guy who spends the money decide who to spend it on. Checks and balances.

No way. Martz is arrogant and pig headed but Turner was not a better or more inventive OC. I'll put him ahead of the three other assclowns (Crowton, Shea, and Shoop) we've had during the past decade but not ahead of Martz. What Martz does bother me a hell of a lot more than who he is.

You know there is a point to perhaps Turner being scapegoated. We all wondered why he didn't spread out and do different things but perhaps he was in part protecting Jay. Knew the o-line was crap and the other pieces. Just to point out there's sometimes a rationale of why a coach does not do or try something. Except for playing Omiyale lol.
