Based on this years performance and especially after today I'd say you're right.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

Oh, this is absolutely the truth. The Bears have been cheap for decades and the trend didn't stop with the forced exit of Michael McCaskey from the front office. Jerry Angelo honestly believes that Forte is not an elite back in the NFL. Well Jerry, I have news for you: he's not only elite, he's arguably the best in the league right now. The longer you stick around, holding your wiener in your hand, the more the asking price drives itself up. If you don't re-sign him, you are going to have some pissed off fans and media pundits calling for your head...as if they aren't doing so already.
