It's okay, buddy. I'm still ranked third in my league so it's not that bad.

ok, just got in from London and thought I'd share a few thoughts....forgive my muddled post, but its like midnight in my head.
DAMN LONG FLIGHT! almost 11 freaking hours to see our beloved. left from LAX on Thursday late afternoon, arrived Friday morning and was worthless until Saturday night. I felt the Bears were going to struggle mightily until I woke up Sunday morning feeling energized and human again. Felt much more optimistic about our chances then.
The Brits love the Bears and are quite knowledgeable. I thought for sure the bulk of the fans would be TB'ers, but we had an awesome showing of blue and orange. Spoke with quite a few people that were into the NFL out there and they have all the same concerns about our team as we do. Seems they pay quite a bit of attention via internet. It was actually very cool. When Williams dropped that pass and I screamed "you f***ing ***hat" (thinking I was in my living room and not in public), about 20 Bears fans seated near me echoed my sentiments with total disgust. Williams is not a fan favorite. Saw mostly Urlacher and Hester jerseys while I was there.
From where I sat, it looked like the oline was holding decently. Not great, but better than in previous games. Urlacher looked fast and intense as hell and Forte is just the freaking man. Every person I spoke to asked what was up with paying the man as if I worked in the front office and could answer that question.
Overall, it was an awesome experience. Maybe due to the win, the newness of it all, or just meeting like people that love our team, I don't know. But it was well worth the disaster it caused my internal time clock for the week. If we had lost, I may not be as rah rah as I am now, but we did win, so I think I would do it again. God, I feel like there is so much more to write about, but my brain is fried!! Once I dig out my camera, I'll post some pics in one of these threads.
GO BEARS!!!

i stood in london, too and i have to say, i was surprised how many bears jerseys i saw...for us "european" it is very difficult to watch football in tv, that's rigth mostly by stream on internet.
that you have most see urlacher and hester jerseys has one reason, you can't buy others... ;) you see, it's very hard for us not to stay in chicago or usa... ;)
