Dent, Hester, and Forte... just some thoughts from ol' IrishX

Been a long time since I posted here and I just wanted to say a couple things all at once. The NFC Championship was... devastating and it has taken a while to deal with it
making my leave even more so.

Anyway, Congratulations to Richard Dent for finally joining his fellow Bear Hall of Famers. It is well deserved. Also congratulations to Devin Hester for continuing to add to
his already legendary achievements. There is no doubt and there hasn't been for a long time who the greatest kick returner ever is.

I'm very happy to see Matt Forte having success this season and getting respect and appreciation from most everyone. I was hoping we would draft him and have been a fan and supporter from the beginning. Now the Bears just need to pay the man what he clearly deserves.

Yeah Devin Hester is ridiculous.. a Hall of Famer in my book. The man changes way games are played. Matt Forte is having a great season. I hope he continues his success and tells Jerry Angelo pay me now. Lol.

" Changes the way games are played" ... uh'yup. Makes you wonder who went crying to the rules committee and had enough power to make them implement this stupid new kickoff rule doesn't it.( Waaaa he's too good , how are we supposed to compete with this ? Jesus Christ it's f'ing football you babies ! ) It's the WORST rule change the league has ever adopted and you hear everyone making the same remark. The Devin Hester Rule as it's commonly called. THAT , in and of itself, is the only evidence anyone needs when considering his HOF worthiness.

( and it's a dumb fking rule that better be changed next year cuz touchbacks are sooo much fun to watch )

They've actually made two rules; last year it was making wedges illegal; when that didn't help they did this....they claimed health concerns, but it was clearly the st's play, primarily hester and also cribbs and harvin, that made the committee take action. It's stupid.

Dent well deserved and well overdue.

I won't get into Forte, I'm sure you can find my feelings on that everywhere on this board.
