Exactly. As far as what Urlacher said about his teammate, Forte. I understand giving Forte that kind of lip service in the lockerroom but when he says it in the press, he looks like a homer. Especially when in Urlacher's next sentence he mentions how Forte doesn't have many touchdowns but he's made a lot of plays. hes simply sticking up for his teammate. Plus he probably wouldnt even acknowledge Rodgers' existence, much less give him credit as MVP. Lach is a Bear through and through
MVP awards are always subjective anyway. You'd have to have an unreal year on a mediocre team to ever get one and it's a virtual impossibility on a losing team. The guys that win championships get that prize but it really has nothing to do with whether or not Forte deserves his new deal.
