Wolf, if you were a woman and you were going to fuck 4th, it would be a grudge fuck. You spew so much venom onto this message board that it's not even funny. 4th is right: Jerry Angelo only pays attention to defense and very little to the offensive side of the football. What's he going to do when all of our current studs on defense get old, when Hester gets old, and they start retiring or are no longer productive? I think we all know who the mea culpa goes out to on this one.
I'm a Lovie Smith supporter because he's learned to succeed despite the shit Jerry Angelo has provided him. He may not be good at challenges or at clock management, but by God, he gets the be st out of his players, period.

'Most venomous' yep. You hit the nail on the head . Unfortunately there are those on this site ... the regular list of butt pirates , who are card carrying members of the sunshine and rainbows club. The list .. is obvious. Those who are willing to give JA (and all of his regular season wins ) a pass ... while forgetting / or conveniently ignoring, that PLAYOFF WINS ........ are the only thing that truly defines a team's success. Everything else is forgettable. Get it ? PLAYOFF WINS !

A " F.H.I.T.S " ? or a J'Marcus ?

Yes, me and 4th have our differences (and our understandings)....he knows what he gets when he engages me in debate/discussion; I honestly try not to push too hard...I know he doesn’t like that...
You spew so much venom onto this message board that it's not even funny.
Honesty, where the hell is that coming from? Yes, I challenge other people’s opinions, as I hope they challenge mine...debate is fun....well, its supposed to be fun...some people just don’t know how to have fun...
About JA...probably, absolutely...my issue with 4th isn’t that JA should necessarily go (I am rather indifferent on the whole matter); it’s that we should tank a season to do it...that is what I have a problem with; that is what I think 4th is wrong about...

Is this a serious question? I have no bloody idea...I hope these type of questions don’t kept you up at night....right now, I am more worried about beating SD then I am about what happens when Urlacher/Briggs/Peanut/Peppers retire...I hope that wasn’t said with too much malice and bitterness on my part...
We are in the middle of an exciting wildcard race...why dwell on things best left for the off-season? And once again, if JA and his future is your main concern at this moment, how in the hell have you enjoyed the last two games? How do you enjoy the rest of the season, if we make the playoffs?

The venomous butt pirate side of me really wants to tear you a new one...
However, I will constrain my baser instincts, and simply say, I am not giving, nor mean to give, JA a pass...what I am saying is I think some of you are completely blinded by hatred to the point you can’t see the forest for the trees...I don’t believe JA is the best GM in the league; I also don’t think he’s the worst either...I think we might be able to get a better one; I KNOW we could end up with a far worse one...if I am in any club, it’s the I don’t really give shit either way club...

Damnit , I was really hoping you'd go the venomous butt pirate route. I seriously can't stand hearing anyone say that lovie wins in spite of JA. That's an emotionally based assumption instead of rationally based. It could easily be that JA actually drafts tallent and the reason we are mediocre is due to lovie being a shitty coach.

blind, you're one of the venomous butt pirates apparently. Dick Jauron coached for three seasons under Jerry Angelo, and with the exception of the 2001 team that went 13-3 AND DID NOT INCLUDE ANY OF ANGELO'S PLAYERS, his tenure in Chicago was a forgettable one. True, Lovie has a 70-52 record in eight seasons as head coach, but his record could be so much better if we actually had more top grade talent on our team in all facets. I hate to rain on your parade, blind, but Jerry Angelo is a horrible general manager, and Lovie is doing something that Dick Jauron never could, which is win under this loathsome individual.

You could, except w/few exceptions (Harris/Benson) most players that leave Chicago have very short uneventful careers. KO had a few good looking, losing, seasons, and is now benched, Rex is an off again, benched again, on again QB and is still the same Rex I remember seeing, to up and to down. Tank a few seasons in Dallas, done, Harris, done, Brown done, Kruetz done, Bradley done. And then there are just the crap piles that never even got a change Dusty Duck, Wolfe, Julio I, etc etc, I don't even want to go back and look I might cry, but there are a lot of those players in the 3-5 round sthat just should have never been drafted.
I think it's a safe bet that Lovie and his staff are coaching up more then coaching down. The problem is they are normally horrible game day coaches; the last 1/2 of last year and since the bye this year that has not been the case.

LOL, you are yet to rain in my parade... and I don't mind the "venomous butt pirate" title. I'll embrace it.
His tenure is a forgetttable one? Maybe you didn't notice that it includes Briggs, Harris (pre-injury), Hester, Forte, P-Nut, Peppers, Cutler and many more.
You stating that it is forgettable doesn't make it so. It needs a little substance.

I find it ironic that the one's defending the attacks are somehow the "venomous" ones. How that is logical is beyond me...
