To say green bay, or team X, is better than last year is a mistake. On offense, yes they seem to be very in sync and they're healthier than they were last year. However, their defense has some friggin holes in it this season and is not as good as last year. Detroit? We played like shit and only lost by 2 scores, and the last three weeks the super d line of theirs has been shredded by forte, gore and yesterday, turner. And what happens to them if megaton goes down, nagurski? They don't have a bad ass running back, and staffords pretty damn fragile too.
So, i dont think your summary of our team is as solid as you think and, let's be glad were not competing with Indy or st Louis instead of ranting about what you would do differently. It's kinda funny to me that Josh mcdaniels is on pace to ruin two franchises, and look how shitty the colts defense is without peyton manning...he plays linebacker right? Wasn't bill polian a genius at drafting? What's happened to his talent evaluating skill?
The bears are far from perfect, but they didn't slide as far as the jets, and they certainly aren't hopeless underachievers like San Diego. I think they're the opposite in fact...they over achieve, at least on offense. And if this defense would've played Detroit like they played Tampa, it's probably a different outcome

Well last year at this time DB54 spammed the crap out of these forum and constantly picked fights with people over bear topics. I think for once is it is nice seeing threads created by other people not nammed DB54 and members don't have to worry about their thread being merged with DB54's threads or bumped to the 3rd page in one day. There is a lot of negativity on this forum and I think it is well deserved. I am a big cutler fan yet I hate seeing him take the beating he has this year. I think his 2 best games of his career in chicago were agains the Lions and Vikings this year. We lost against the lions but he make some incredible passes without an OL for most of the game. He has to over come all of those false starts in that game yet we still did not play well. Jay was not sacked much but he was hit way too many times.
Yesterdays game was fun to watch until the 4th quarter. Forte was having a great game and we were making plays on defense until both the OC and DC had their brains replaced with a bag of rocks. I will say I have sticked up for Martz for most of the season but critical on Tice and Marinelli. We go into that lame ass prevent defense and we let the bucs back into the game. Martz decides to start passing the ball late in the game instead of giving it to the guy that was tearing up large chunks of yards.
