RWill Shows Both Positives and Negatives...........
Inside the Bears
Roy Williams makes it interesting - both positively and negatively

Bears receiver Roy Williams scored a touchdown, and he led his team with 59 receiving yards.
That's good.
But Roy Williams also dropped a pass.
That's bad.
First the good.
Buccaneers cornerback E.J. Biggers tried to press him at the line of scrimmage. Williams got around him, and he got wide open en route to a 25-yard touchdown. "I got lightning speed, man. Still got it," he said. "I'm 29 years old, and I still got it." (Obviously humility isn't his long suit)
Williams said he expected an inside throw but Jay Cutler tossed it outside instead. "He threw it away from the safety," Williams said. "He's smarter than me." (That's why he's the QB and your the WR but then again sometimes I think an acorn squash might have an edge on you too)
But in the first quarter, Williams lamented a drop in the middle of the field. On the next play, Cutler's pass to Marion Barber was deflected and intercepted.
"I made it interesting. My drop led to mistake after mistake," Williams said. "We had the momentum, and my drop led to the interception, and the safety the play after that. So I put that on me. You can't have that. (I did and I know. Do you?)
"I can't say it won't happen again, but it won't happen again." Either way, Williams acknowledged the significance of the game. (Great thinking! There's that intelligence thing comin' round to bite you in the ass again. No matter though. We're sure it will happen again because it's you)
"It was a big win for us, no matter how you win," he said. "They're in the other locker room sad and depressed, and have a long flight. Our flight is a little shorter - might be a little longer but in our eyes will be a little shorter - because we won the game. (And you get more bonus miles to boot. Watch our for the blackout dates though)
"You have to win the ugly ones too." He's got that right. (Now there's a great team motto. "We're the Chicago Bears and we win ugly")

I don't think I'll ever like this dickhead but it sure would be nice if he can pull passes in like this every game.

Does he feel like he's earned some of his money now? So it's ok to take a few games in a row off again now ? I'd like to see him fullfill some of his potential.
Believe it when I see it.
What should you call any : Fumble , Hold , Interception , Three and out , or Sack ?
A " F.H.I.T.S " ? or a J'Marcus ?

I think he played a good game, sure he dropped a pass but so has every other WR on this team but nobody makes a better first down sign than Roy.

Yeah he does seem to have that one move mastered.

You can tell the talent is there with Roy. He shows flashes of brilliance at times. Some of his moves make corners look silly. Other times, well, he looks like most Bears receivers we've grown to know over the years. My guess is that if this guy had his head screwed on for a long period of time, he could be a very very good receiver. I won't be holding my breath for that to happen though.

I disagree. That guy needs to be doing it better than anyone, not just on this team, but in the league. He's got a one year deal, unless he feels he's made enough money to last him the rest of his life, he should be over achieving or at least living up to the potential

I would love to see them get him more involved in the game plan - he has the big body we need in the red zone. So far, his largest contribution has been in the run game.

It was nice to see Roy have another route other than the deep in route. With Johnny Knox nowhere to be found when Bennett returns he should take his place not Sanz despite the slot designation.
