Who stays active on the DL?
The Bears have another good problem on the DL as young players Stephen Paea and Amobi Okoye have stepped up and played well.
Both Paea and Okoye have been disruptive forces on the DL even when they are not making the play.
What do the Bears do to keep these guys active as Toeina comes back from injury.

DT: Melton, Paea, Okoye
NT: Toenia, Adams
LE: Idonije, Melton
I think we should start Melton at the 3 technique then move him out to DE and rotate in Paea and Okoye. This way Nick Reed does not have to play and we can keep all of our interior guys active and getting reps.

I don't know. Reed seems to be earning the right to play. Both Addison and Wootton are healthy scratches so he must be impressing somebody. A for DT I would have Paea and Okoye playing the majority of the passing downs at NT and UT respectively and use Melton in reserve at UT. Toe and AA can share the running downs at NT.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

Give Melton a wake up call and deactivate him for a game or two. Bring in Wootton and sit Reed. The bye week needs to be a HUGE time to work on technique, desire and hustle!!

Bench Melton, rotate Okoye and Paea and activate Wooton. We gotta find out if that guy is worth his salt, and no one better than against Michael Vick...(except Aaron Rodgers, Matthew Stafford, Philip Rivers, etc.)

All I know is all the big run plays come when Melton is in there. I would use him as a third and long dt like we did with tank
I'm also a fan of seeing what Melton can do at de cause I don't think izzy deserves to get resigned

Don't say that or we'll draft a DE in the 1st round lol. Seriously I wish Wootton or someone would come on to spell Izzy on that side as he's getting older. Perhaps he can be a backup and ST next year if he falters too much.
