There's no way we get rid of Hurd to accomodate TO. Hurd and Graham are two of the best "gunners" on punt coverage in the league and his contributions at WR were never expected to be more than marginal anyway. TO is a replacement of for RWill and no one else but the point is moot. The Bears won't be offering him a deal this year and probably never.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

I think our receiver core is just fine, as another poster stated we need to focus on other areas of the team. Defense across the board and O-line comes to mind.

2)who gets cut? We have (I think) 5 WR's right now a) Hester b) Bennett c) knox d) RWill e) sanzenbacher oh shit...f) hurd
who are they gonna cut? They all have value of some sort right now, but someone will have to go, right?
Cut Frank Omiyale

A healthy, still something in the tank TO,might be worth a chance for this season only.
Since that's not the case, the negatives outweigh the positives...

I wouldnt want him even if he was healthy

T.O. IS a cancer, and should be treated as such. And by the way, for whoever said that he was average at best with the Bengals last season, he lead the team in receiving with like 900+ yards, which would have been more than a 1000 on the season had he not gone on IR near the end of the season.

Well the fact that not one NFL team showed up for his workout speaks very loudly as to what the NFL thinks he's worth.

Coming back from a knee injury at his age will tend to wreak havoc on a veteran NFL player's career.

true but the damage he does to your locker room's chemistry is not worth it. (Bengals fan) Besides, he caught balls in his workout video. What happens when a ray lewis catches him coming across the middle and he lands on that knee wrong?
He's 38 years old. Call it karma if you like. But its time for T.O. to make the transition to civilian life like the rest of us.
