Do you honestly think that would influence Jerry Angelo? Come one Benji you know damn well it wouldn't. And besides Forte wouldn't leave his teamates in that bind anyhow. It's a bye week and there isn't much else to write about except this and who'll play RT next Monday, which WR takes a seat to make room for Bennett and a blurb or two on our new rookie darling Chris Conte.

After the Eagles game things will have an entirely different focus. If we win it will be all about getting past the Lions an into the playoffs and if we lose it will be about how we can't win must games. Next week the Forte deal goes on the back burner again.

I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

Not until at least the 2014 season, unless he gets hurt and or cut
I'm sure they just want to be cheap all year long.

Right now he gets next to nothing. If we sign him now he get more than this joke he gets now. Bears are cheap and save the money they can save. I expect a extension in March, without Franchise Tag

No, if we lose Monday night, it will also be how we can not win road games. London was not a real road game. We were not the home team, and we did play on the road, but that was not a real road game.

Yeah and last year it was how we couldn't win at home. Some of the negativity people sense around here is a direct result of how the team is viewed and written about in the press. It's been that way for years upon years all the way back to when I was growing up in Chicago. That's part of why I say about the bitching, "we're Bears fans, it's what we do".

Who knows, maybe it's a tradition the press started in the 60's when we were always finishing second to the Packers just like we are now. Or maybe it started in the 70's when the team sucked like and Oreck, I really don't remember, but it is what it is.........a tradition.
