And people wonder why I rip the Bears...
First, on a somewhat related subject, there is the Matt Forte circus. Let me just ask the question: what did they pay Chester Taylor last season...??? They can pay some over the hill, douche-bag like Taylor to ride the pine most of the season, but, they are playing games with Forte. If they screw with him, I hope he holds out ALL next season.
Now, on to the reason I can not take the Bears seriously...!!! Did Roy Williams REALLY say that the game against the Eagles is just another game...??? If they win, eh...!!! If they lose, eh...!!! REALLY...!!! Where the FU@K is the motivation...??? Wow...!!! That attitude speaks volumes. His sorry a$$ should be benched. Really, this says SO much about the ENTIRE organization...
And for my positive thought for the day: Jay Cutler RULES...!!!

I don’t know what the exact quote or context is, but I typically take those “just another game” quotes before a big game with a large grain of salt...what do you want him to say...it’s the end of the world is we lose; that @ week 9 our whole season is riding on the outcome of this game...there’s a fine line between motivation and undue, unhealthy pressure...

Also it's Roy Williams he's made a career over asinine statements, remember guaranteeing victories, playoffs? How stupid close they were to 40 points when they scored 3?
I expect nothing but awful from Roy on and off the field and if he gives us a little shot in the arm than hey I'll be more than happy to take it but still hate that he gets a Bears jersey.

They only play (16) games a season, every game is a must win game. Unless you are (14-0) towards the end of the season, for instance. That comment REEKS of Lovies smooth jazz, tranquilizer induced attitude...!!! He SHOULD be saying that yes, this is a must win game. That they would like to keep pace with the Packers and Lions. Something, anything would be better than his response...

Yes, and I am sure even idiot Roy is well aware of those facts...better to give a “nothing answer” (which he did) then risk giving the Eagles lock room material...it’s a big game for both teams; no need to state or dwell on the painfully obvious...well, unless you're desperate for something to bitch about...

No I think someone owed Martz a favor or they lost a bet to Martz at an Old Country Buffet and they had to bring in RW. That move reeked of Martz.

Yeah I'm like you kegger. I've kind of tuned the guy out mentally. He's done so little so far that whether he playing or not playing makes little difference. If Urlacher or Cutler made that comment maybe it has some meaning but all kinds of ridiculous shit comes out of Williams mouth virtually every time he opens it.
You have to consider the soure Nags. He's a pickup player from the Cowboys reject pile. Not a true Chicago Bear.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

"There's gonna be some problems, some glitches like any other game," We've been down that road, and hopefully we've learned from it. Hopefully we'll eliminate our turnovers, and our false starts and get the calls in. Hopefully, it's smooth. We won't know until we get into Monday though."
"The last showing we had on Monday night wasn't very good. So this Monday night hopefully we can turn that around," "In those [road losses], we still should have won. As long as we're penalty free or minimize the mistakes, we should have a great shot at winning this game."
One quote is from Roy on the upcoming Monday night game, the other from a “true” Chicago Bear...which one’s which?
Still like to see the exact quote 3nags is referring to...
