If we slowed down Jared Allen and Co.
Surely we can stop the Eagles pass rush.
P.S. Vikings have more sacks than the Eagles so far this season.

were we not also at home? BIG difference. Bears do not play well on the road, actual road games in opponents actual home stadium.... London was a road game, but not a real road game as we did not have to enter into enemy territory.

We slowed them down because we kept TE's and backs in to help the OT's. We'll need to that again on Monday but the big difference is that Philly has much pass coverage than Minny. If Philly's defense is getting it together they'll be very tough to pass against. I think this will take the best efforts of the entire offense to win this game. Forte isn't gonna carry them alone in this one.

Soul is right the difference is when we send only two guys out there to catch balls against all pros like Samuels and asomo it won't fair as well as going against minny dbs

They are going to have to stick to the run setting up the pass. Cutler and company have to be on their toes and not try to force big plays. Just chip away at them and be happy with short gains. I hope they keep doing the play action and roll outs to keep the d guessing.

Philadelphia averages giving up better than 5 yards per rush on the ground. We may line up and run the ball down their throats with both Forte and Barber.

Eagles give up 5 ypr
Bears give up 5.2 ypr
They could just as easily run the ball down our throats

What is the total yards per run during the past two games, Benji?

I am looking at the over all effect.
If you want to focus on two games, it is a small sample size. If you want to see what a team actually is, you look at their whole season, not just a game or two. You say you are not impressed because the Eagles have looked real good against two bad teams. But so have the Bears. The difference is that while the Bears have looked better, they have not looked good while Philly has.

I would be great if we could do that but you know they'll bring a safety up to stop the run until Cutler proves he can make them pay for that. Philly's defense is too good to get too one dimensional on them. Remember last years game. We beat them through the air. Cutler had 4 TD passes. Those won't come as easy this year.
