Nope, your off the hook. We made our share of mistakes but as good teams do we overcame them. I'll have to admit that maybe we are turning a corner. I'll have to wait until after the Lions game before I'll get on board the playoff train but if we can keep playing ball like this we've got as shot.
Still too may mental errors though. We really dodged a bullet on that fake punt. WTF were they thinking. Phiyy's punter was a college QB and you don't cover their gunners????? Not very bright whoever set that one up.

Well put. We looked good in game 1 vs. Atl too and this team plays better when they've had more time to prepare like coming off a bye. Not all teams do that, so in that respect it was good. Still it remains to be seen how well they'll play after they get dinged up again and have to play every week. If we beat Det then I'd agree we MAY be starting to turn a corner, but we just beat a 3-4 team tonight that is over-rated. We got some help from the refs also. The Bears have enough talent to compete sure ... but they're not upper-echelon yet and need to show improvement every week if they hope to get to the point where they can be deemed a formidable playoff opponent. Not saying they can't do it, but they still have a ways to go b4 they can be called that. Right now they're 'better' than it seemed they were going to be and that's about it . Still don't EXPECT them to win every week ( like Packers fans can do ) . IF they can get to that level then great. But that's still a mighty big if at this point. Regular season wins don't mean jack if you're not really good enough to compete once the PLAYOFFS start.
What should you call any : Fumble , Hold , Interception , Three and out , or Sack ?
A " F.H.I.T.S " ? or a J'Marcus ?

Well that was a very satisfying hard fought win. Anytime you can beat a good team (and they are good and very dangerous offensively) in their house ya' done good. Now I can go to bed happy.
I'll mention one other thing that's gotten lost in all the praise for the offensive effort. Our secondary did a bang up job tonight. If we can play man up press defense against guys with the speed of Jackson and Macklin it beat me why we have to give those pukes from GB a ten yard cushion. We were far more effective with that type of play from the CB and NB with a single deep Safety then we've been with that cushy Cover-2 so far. JMO
