OK ... NOW do you take us seriosly? 30-24 @ Philly.
Long way from the detroit game in which we were embarresed.
Can we beat the pack at their home? I dont see why not.
As near as a picture perfect game as you have seen in along time ...
without Forte as a factor at Philly.
Bennett makes Williams look better ... well ... up to a point.
Opinions?

I take us as seriously as a wildcard 10-6 team.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.
Restore the roar!

Speaking of Detroit, Bears have the perfect opportunity on Sunday to prove they deserve a playoff spot by beating the Lions at Soldier Field. That game will be crucial for them, since it will split the series AND tie the Lions record.
So...yeah. Grats to the Bears for a good game tonight, lets seem them continue that play and clean up the mistakes for Sunday's game.

This is the start of beating teams that you aren't really supposed to beat. Big win, congrats to the Bears for playing a great game; and yes it's easier to take them more seriously after beating a quality team at their home.
And I am officially on the Lovie Smith bandwagon; this guy does more w/less then any other coach; JA consistantly sticks him w/lemons and he finds a way to make lemonade. He's not the best in game coach; his challenges are awful, but the guy finds a way to win. Fire JA, and tell the next GM that his job is to give the coaching staff talent and he won't need to worry about a coach b/c if Lovie can find a way to get to the playoffs .500 w/the little amount of talent JA gave him; give him talent and he'll be there every year.

Yeah, I'm not about to give any credit to the coaching staff. I think this win was more about the players stepping up than anything else. Between Bennett making it known that HE is the #1 Receiver and Cutler improvising the **** out of those plays, it was the guys in the jerseys that won this game. Not Martz play-calling and (while I agree with having to do with less) not Smith making lemonade.

In a word ... NO ( not yet ).
What should you call any : Fumble , Hold , Interception , Three and out , or Sack ?
A " F.H.I.T.S " ? or a J'Marcus ?

I said it before the season started. Bennett is our #1 WR. Cutler wants him to be his main target and he trusts him. Need to resign Bennett - that's for sure

I'm with Blue Horse-Shoe on this one. There's still a lot of good games coming up. Some we should win, some we MUST WIN, and some we probably don't have much going.
Lions - MUST WIN (50/50)
Chargers - Should Win (chances look good)
Raiders - very "iffy" (their record is better then the Eagles)
Chiefs - Should Win (50/50)
Broncos - Should Win (chances look awesome)
Seahawks - "iffy" (I only say "iffy" because this is your typical Trap Game...you know - the one they "should win"....????)
Packers - MUST WIN (@ Lambeau ... ??? ~ chances not so good - but sure would be AWESOME!)
Vikings - MUST WIN (chances look great)
So, I'm figuring from this point forward 5 very potential wins. Maybe 7.
The biggest problem with the BEARS is that they are infamous for looking great one week...beating teams they shouldn't, and getting their asses handed to them the next.
So, until there's REAL C-O-N-S-I-S-T-A-N-C-Y ..... I'd have to say I'm still on the fence.
Let's face it .... The EAGLES aren't THAT good. They won 2 games .... so what. They beat the Cowboys? ... LOL!!!!
Going into that game, The Eagles were sitting at #16, and the Cowboys were at #21.
The BEARS were at #10.
So, they won a game they SHOULD have. That's all.
Let's see what happens Sunday against the Lions. :-)
(I can't even believe I'm saying that! ... how the hell did the Lions become a "Team To Beat" and Calibrate how good your team may be? .... WOW! ~ LOL!!!!!!)
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! .... :-)

I will say no. Not yet. Beat the lions and then ask me.
But why not? Because we "only beat the eagles" right? I mean who are they? Ask the people who were sure we would beat them because "what good teams have they beaten?" Because they looked really good because "they beat a bad Cowboys team".
So using the logic of those fans, I will say no.
