LOL), but I do think that in either the 2nd or 3rd Round, depending on what we do in the first round, we should draft another OLmen, like a C, who can be the understudy to Garza for a year or two.
I think if we don't draft a G/C at least by the 2nd round we are doing ourselves a great disservice. We have to keep improving the pass-pro to see Jay at the highest degree. And we all know that one injury and inserting a klunky understudy like Omiyale will submarine a line right quick.

Although the thought of drafting a WR would be great (Blackmon cough cough). Since Drake couldn't develop polaroid film with a 5 min head start the drafted WR would be "redshirted" to learn the playbook and wait behind Rwill. A FA wr vet would probably be a more success out of the box way. Get rid of Drake though and I'd be all for it.

...but we all know it will be a DE in the 1st round.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.

    Restore the roar!

Jesus, don't say that! You'll give me a heart attack!

I can't imagine that a gifted WR in this offense couldn't develop under Daryl Drake, even as bad as he is. For instance, how many good wide receivers have we drafted in recent years? The best one to date is Bernard Berrian, and we all know how long that 3rd Round pick lasted. We had an opportunity to sign Sidney Rice, yet we didn't. That one was probably a wise move on Jerry Angelo's part since Rice stays injured all the time. But I really was disappointed in that we didn't pursue Brandon Lloyd when he would have immensely helped out Cutler on deep routes. Imagine having Bennett going across the middle and Lloyd as your deep man!
