OK, Jahvid Best but since he's out with a concussion we'll be seeing Mo Morris who isn't a bad back. He's just not the breakaway threat Best is. But you're right. Put a lid on Megatron at the top of the zone and force he and Stafford to nickel and dime us down the field and we hold them under 20 points as long as we don't give them up on turnover.
The OLine has now faced the two best pass rushing defenses in the NFC in Minny and Philly so let's hope they're up to the task again this week. If Cutler gets some time to throw he can do some damage against their secondary and their run defense hasn't been all that stout. No one seems to be able to stop Forte without 8 in the box and if they do that Cutler will kill them now that Bennett is back and RWill has been able to actually hild onto the ball.
We just have to play another really good game and at home it shouldn't be that hard especially against a dome team with the weather turning worse. We're finally playing Bears football and all we need to do is to keep doing it.

The only thing that bothers me is NFL.com is saying they get Fairily as a starter.
We just got through playing against two teams with great pass rushes in Minny and Philly and we handled them so you have to go into this one feeling like we can handle these guys too. I'm actually more concerned about what they may do to stop our running game then what the can do rushing. Fairley's a pentrator so we need to use that against him and let him work himself out of the gap then just seal it. It's like teams played Tommie Harris who would do more to help the other team sometimes than he did the Bears.

Yep, payback time in spades to today jackie. Detroit and Matthew Stafford got punk'd big time. Take away his big plays to Megatron and he's not so hot after all. The only thing we missed was a real major hit on him off a blitz.
Those Lions guys are a bunch of punks and all Billick was doing was defending them. Saying you got to play after the whistle as a way of intimidation. It was great to see Briggs smash Johnson down after that cheap shot by Fairley on Cutler. I'll take the penalty for the opportunity to have a "get back" just like they do in hockey.
Stafford is another punk for that steer wrestle he put on DJ. There should have been a penalty called on that and if they fine DJ then Stafford needs to get tagged too as the instigator. That was 100% intentional. It's just too bad he didn't get in the middle of the scrum. Once they pulled little DJ off of him he just slunk away the jerk.
If the Lions are getting a rep as a dirty team they deserve it although it's not surprising with that schizo coach they've got. You can restore a teams confidence with hard play not late hits and guys trying to tear helmets off and injure opponents. The league needs to take a look at the way those guys are playing and step in before somebody gets hurt badly.
