When you start using words like "punish" the other team or an opposing player for having success against your defense you just aswered the question about being a "dirty player" in the affirmative. This ain't the 1980's and you aren't allowed to "punish" anyone for having a great play against you fool!
There's a difference between a legal, but "punishing" tackle which is what Peppers laid on Megatron and made him cough up the ball, and you yanking Cutler's helmet off with a headlock tackle which wasn't legal but you were lucky enough not to get flagged for you dolt!
The fact that you even had to have a visit with Gooddell to find out exactly how close you could get to being over the line before you got flagged and fined is pretty much proof positive that you play the game on that fine edge and nobody who plays like you do is good enough to always stay on the right side of it.
DJ Moore was legally blocking your QB on the pick run back and it isn't legal to just grab him by the helmet and throw him to the ground by it in order to "keep him away from his body". Was Raiola's chop block needed to protect the little pussy against harm too? It's really obvious that you don't know the rules and that if your coach does he doesn't really care all that much whether or not they get stretched once in a while.
The Bears play tough hard nosed football but Lovie Smith won't tolerate "dirty players" which is why Meriweather took a seat until he agree to conform. The Lions play "dirty" and that psycho HC of yours doesn't care as long as it results in wins. That topic would never even had come up and you'd never have even been interviewed about it by ESPN if it didn't have any truth to it. Did they interview Lance Briggs or Julius Peppers or Jay Cutler for giving you a "hip throw"???????
He is a complete idiot. Thanks for the link Tommy!![]()

NFL Announces a fine against Vanden Bosch for a late hit on Forte. Others likely to follow.
There were so many other more blatant personal fouls than this one that I can't even remember this one happening. Add to this the helmet rip by Suh on Cutler, the unecessary roughness on Fairley on his sack of Cutler, the chop block by Raiola, and the helmet tackle by Stafford on Moore and it's hard for Suh to refute the Lions rep as a dirty team without looking like a total fool.
Lovie is right in what he said about Stsfford too. If you're gonna toss a guy for retaliating against something that's as gross an infraction as that was then you need to toss the instigator too. The league needs to chew the asses of that officiating crew for not having the balls to do it. I don't care whether he's the QB or not. Nobody should be exempt from the rules.

Source: Kyle Vanden Bosch fined
The NFL has fined Detroit Lions defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch $7,500 for hitting Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte while he was on the ground, a league source said Thursday. It would be the first in a series of fines to stem from Sunday's contentious game against the Bears, who won 37-13 in Soldier Field.
Officials review all plays involving potential violations, even if not penalized during the game, and they are referred to Ray Anderson and Merton Hanks, executive vice president and vice president of football operations, respectively.
The two have plenty of plays from which to choose, ranging from hits on quarterback Jay Cutler by Lions defensive tackles Ndamukong Suh and Nick Fairley, to the fourth-quarter brawl between the teams that resulted in the ejection of Bears cornerback D.J. Moore.
Bears coach Lovie Smith on Monday said Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford should have been ejected along with Moore following the altercation. Moore charged Stafford, who dragged down the cornerback by grabbing the back of his helmet and his face mask during an interception return by Tim Jennings.
Moore has said that he expects to be fined.
In a non-fight related offense, Bears wide receiver Earl Bennett was fined $10,000 for wearing orange cleats in the game, according to a league source.Bennett was fined $5,000 the previous week for the same offense -- a violation of the NFL's uniform policy -- in the Bears' 30-24 victory against the Eagles.
Information from ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter and ESPNChicago's Michael C. Wright was used in this report.

The Lions quarterback appeared to grab Moore's facemask and flung him to the ground. Moore responded by taking a run and throwing a block hard into Stafford in front of the Lions' bench.
Bears coach Lovie Smith said Monday that both players, Moore and Stafford, should have been ejected.
Lions defensive linemen Nick Fairley also was fined $15,000 for driving Bears quarterback Jay Cutler into the ground. Fellow defensive lineman Rob Sims was fined $7,500 for unnecessary roughness as well.

Lions defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch was fined $7,500 for a late hit on Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte, ESPN reported Thursday
Without weaponz it's just another airline!
I am here to chew bubble gum and kick butt and I am all out of bubble gum!

Just another way for the NFL to pussy out of holding Stafford responsible for the whole melee. He starts the problem but gets the lower fine. LMFAO!!!!! They need to change the acromnym to the NBL, No Balls League. Other than that the Lions picked up another $30k in fines for unecessary roughness but they pussy out over fining Suh.
I guess if you're a star in this league the rules are different for you. Suh pleads innocent and that the helmet just came off by happenstance but why is it players helmets seem to come off so often when he's around. Magical isn't it?

How many players in the history of the NFL have ever gone to the commish to ask what they can do to clean up there game and then do absolutely nothing about it? Suh is an idiot and nothing more than a big con artist who hasn't fooled many people with that little act of contrition. If Gooddell is fooled by it then he's even a bigger idiot than Suh!
What am I saying. Of course he's a bigger idiot than Suh. He believed him!!!!!!
