He needs surgery on his wrist and if it's anything like what Urlacher experienced two years ago he's out for the count. Funny they never said anything about it during the game. I guess we'll know more when Lovie does his press interview. Looks like it's EWill at LG for now.

I don't know how Edwin Williams is as a blocker. The viewing sample that I saw due to the extensive defensive plays/Lions possesions because the offense just wasn't on the field much in the second half sort of skews my perspective. I saw that Jay Cutler had to scramble outside the pocket a few times, which didn't bother me because that's when he's at his best. So, I guess he did okay. Does anyone know for sure when Chris Williams was knocked out of the game or was the exit so inconspicuous due to the lack of coverage by the announcers that nobody knows for sure?

EWill is probably a little more physical than CWill but nowhere near as athletic. Where this really hurts in when the LG pulls on sweeps or tosses to the right which has been Forte's bread and butter so far this year. We'll just have to compensate for it until we get Carimi back.

One way or the other, God sees fit to push us closer and closer to having OhMyFail back into the lineup.

Maybe similar to the injury Urlacher had. He'd be risking permanent nerve damage if he played before it was 100% healed. Bad break for him just when he was getting comfortable with that LG spot and bad luck for us because we're thin at OG too.

I guess we'll see EWill playing until Carimi returns then I would guess maybe the move Spencer or Louis over there. Tough break.

They report it is similar to urlacjers and he had emergency surgery on it. Looks like windy mock offseason calling for a lg might come true. It's too bad though after being pretty much a bust he has surprised me at lg. now e Williams is complete meh. Too bad lions picked up Leonard Davis last week cause idk anyone else that would have been available

God dammit, that hurts. We finally seem to have an offensive line that can protect our investment and now we have to start from scratch. Why?!

I don't know about that, Henry. The Chargers are a really disppointing team this year, but their dline and linebackers can be dangerous for our oline. Besides it's gonna be a must-win game for San Diego. If they can't win this one they're pretty much out of the race. It's gonna be very tough game, that's for sure.

I hate it that Cwill is done for the year but hopefully this will FORCE JA to draft a OG in the spring.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.

We had a chance to pick up Brian Waters too before the Pats grabbed him. For a team trying to win championships Angelo does some of the dumbest things on record. He'll want to take credit for signing Spencer but we all know the fact that he's become a pretty fair RG is as much an accident as anything. He was signed to take Kruetz place at OC.

The OLine was thin to begin with and he made no allowances for injuries. Well now his only two 1st round Oline picks are both out so now we're down to two 7th rounders, an undrafted FA, and two vets playing one anothers positions.

    Nice job Jerry.
