Thats amazing.
Thats amazing.
Wow!
Return Yards
Chicago = 191
Detroit = 2
It truly is amazing. It was a bizarre game. I'm glad they didn't force the passing issue with the dirty play of the Lions. But I don't care about Cutler's stats. Well, I care about his win/loss record!
Cutler didn't have any turnovers. One way to look at it.
As mediocre as the offense was today, we STILL would've beaten the Lions if you took away all of the defensive/special teams scores.
Apparently, Cutler took some hits from what Thom Brennaman said. Again, I was asleep through all of the first half, so I didn't get to see any of that part of the game. The offense did better then than it did in the second half. I was really hoping to score a couple of more touchdowns in the fourth quarter just to rub it into the faces of Detroit for being such poor sports.
Tebow only put up a little over a 150 yards passing against Miami, if I recall correctly. There is a VERY good chance that we will run the table over the next five games. There is absolutely no reason why we shouldn't win the next five games versus the AFC West and Seattle unless we start overlooking our opponents. That being said, we need to be cognizant of the fact that we cannot afford to look ahead toward the Packers game.
The table is set but the offense has to play better than they did today. When an opponent takes Forte out of the game Cutler HAS to step it up and today he wasn't sharp at all. Only 9/19 for 123 yards and if Bennett wasn't on the field it may have been a lot worse.
