An actual "clothesline" move involves taking the head with added momentum. Hitting the body is a TACKLE. Ever notice the ones that are the most dirty complain the most
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.

Exactly, grabbing a guy on the chest and taking him down with one arm is a tackle. There's nothing dirty about it. No helmet was grabbed, no neck was grabbed. Give me a break. Sorry that their 'beastly' wide receiver (who, for the record, I'd take on the Bears any day) tried running into traffic with the big boys and got smoked with one arm. He should stick to picking on 190 lbs. defensive backs.

The only things I seen "dirty" about the BEARS were their uniforms....after they got done mopping up Soldier Field with the LIONS! LOL!!!

Yep! When you go 230 lbs and outweigh the guys who you usually punish by 20-40 lbs don't complain when somebody 280 lbs punishes you. He got hit cleanly and coughed up the ball. That's what our defense does. We created turnovers in yesterdays game. We created a lot of them.

There's no doubt in my mind that Briggs hit on Johnson was a payback for what Fairley did to Cutler but there's a big difference. Briggs led with his shoulder and didn't try to spear him. The helmet to helmet contact was incidental to him putting one hell of a big hit on Johnson as a reminder that if you're gonna play rough so are we. What Fairley did was an intentional late tackle aimed at hurting Cutler's right shoulder. That was obvious and the league should fine him for it with a caution that if it happens again he'll get a 4 game vacation. The only reason players do shit like that is because their coach tells them to do it. You can pin play like that on psycho Scwartz. Fairley wasn't that kind of player in college.

Stafford started the whole thing with that helmet grab of DJ and looked surprised as all hell when he ended up with a little 180 lb Dback beating on his 230 lb ass. Notice how he just slunk off to the side when the real fight began. He's a pussy and a punk and now he knows what playing against a defense out for revenge is like. After that blow against Cutler he's lucky he wasn't Briggs target.

The Lions fans should just accept the fact that their Lions got made into Kitties yesterday and it nothing to do with dirty play on the part of either team. Evernight is right when he says that the Lions play dirty and that's because that's what they're coached to do. When a Bears player does that (like Meriweather) he takes a seat until he gets his play back in line. I was glad to see we couldn't be imtimidated by those clowns and I would think any questions about Jay Cutler's toughness can be put to rest. DJ Moore shouldn't have retaliated but I'm really not sorry he did. Hopefully the league will look at who started that whole mess and Stafford won't get off scot free. If you're gonna fine defensive players for ripping at guys helmets then QB's are fair game too.

with that said soul Im surprised the Lions didnt sign Meariweather he fits perfect in what they are trying to accomplish

I think when a team plays like the Lions its to overshadow their shortcomings. I called them frauds before the first game and still think they are garbage two player team

And we took one of those away from them pretty good yesterday. I'll live with that 40 yard reception we gave up to Megatron in exchange for Peanut's pick and the 7 points that got us. Defensively we just manhandled them. I think they're cheap shot artists because they're coached that way.

Schwartz may be trying to re-instill a winning attitude but he's going about it the wrong way. Maybe he should watch what Harbaugh is doing at SF rather than hounding him down the field because he didn't like his post game handshake. He's a psycho and so is his team. If Suh doesn't watch himself somebody is gonna stand him up while another cut blocks him and takes out one of his knees penalty be damned. You want to live by the sword you die by the sword.
