I didn't see a thing egregious from the part of the Bears. They can whine all they want about clean hits, they had at least 3 dirty plays.
Like I said the main one was Briggs' clothesline of Calvin Johnson
However the radio guys are saying they understand why Moore reacted how he did
Fans also complain about Peppers hit on Calvin Johnson to start the game.
They should know a dirty team when they see one considering they root for the dirtiest team in the league bar none.
Gosh, what a bunch a whinny kitty cats.
It all started when Jay was the target of a roughing the passer call against Nick Fairley. I really appreciate Moore's and Briggs' willingness to put a stop to the nonsense.
However I like how Cutler told the media that "If a team's going to cross that line, we're going to have to retaliate and we're going to stand up for ourselves. Our offensive line, defensive line … now the secondary, everyone. We're coming together as a team and that's a good sign of it."
Jay seems to become the leader all the haters have been waiting for. ;-)
Benj is talking about the Peppers clothesline that caused CJ to fumble first play of the game. It did look dirty; it wasn't as bad as it looked, but it did look dirty. If that had been Suh on Bennett Bears fans would have been screaming. Then they were complaining about the Briggs shoulder to helmet hit; which I don't think Briggs hit his helmet, looked clean and hard to me.
But if your team wants to play rough/dirty, don't bitch when the team your playing goes there too. We gave them a good dose of their own medicine; and their team(like most bullies) folded like a wet rag.
Peppers wrapped him from behind and threw him to the ground, last I checked that was a tackle. Not flopping 300 pounds of fat ass on a QB that delivered the ball from his hands 5 seconds ago.
I still don't know what this Briggs clothesline is talking about, I saw a hard tackle where he led with his shoulder.
The late hit on Cutler by Fairley had me worried for a moment. Flashes of Jim McMahon's hit.
That Peppers hit on Calvin Johnson was iffy, but it was a tackle. I guess that what happens when you run your mouth before the game even starts eh?
