Just as long as we don't step on our dicks over the next four weeks we should be fine. The San Diego (home) and Oakland (away) games will be the two toughest but there's no question about that fact that we can win all four. Denver just lost it's two top RB's and Tebow is no Michael Vick so even here in Denver that should be a win and KC at home should also be a win.

If we come out of this stretch 10-3 we may end up with the best Wild Card record in either league. Let's hope we don't sustain anymore injuries to the Oline than CWill and that Carimi can return in another week or two. Looks like we'll need him after all now.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

Now that Chris Williams is injured, I predict that the Bears will falter down the way. I don't know anything about Edwin Williams' blocking prowess, but I can tell you that he is not as good as CWill simply because he hasn't gotten enough playing experience.

The Bears have the inside track to the 5th seed WC and will have no one but themselves to blame if they somehow blow it.

The NFC divisional winners look all but set in stone already. There is maybe an outside chance that someone could overtake NYG or Saints but it's unlikely, esp. with Atlanta blowing the game to the Saints at home this weekend. So the WC race likely shapes up like this...

NFC West: No chance for any WC teams

NFC East: Wash & Philly out of contention
    Dallas has outside shot

    NFC South: Carolina out
    Atlanta has outside shot
    TB needs lots of help

    NFC North: Minny out
Bears & Lions split season series and are 6-3, best records among non-divisional leaders

Among the most obvious WC challengers (Det, Dallas, Atl), the Bears have a better record than the last 2 and a tiebreak win over Atl. Detroit isn't playing well at all lately, has a much tougher remaining schedule than the Bears with 2 games vs. GB and an away game in N.O., so I see them losing one more game than we do (or SHOULD). Atlanta has a fairly soft schedule left but they are a game + a tiebreak behind the Bears.

The Bears have 4 straight games vs mediocre-to-crappy AFCWest teams with the "best" of those four at home, then Seattle at home, then GB & Minny away. There is no reason whatsover to not close out 5-2 MINIMUM. I don't see any other WC contender making it to 11-12 wins.

Of course, if we play like shit again (weeks 2-5) then all this means nothing. But the Bears basically have their post-season fate in their own hands.

The schedule looks promising but there's still a ways to go. If they make the playoffs hopefully the improvement will be enough to make them formidable ..... cuz they're not gonna be given 24pts off turnovers in playoff games like the Lions just did.
What should you call any : Fumble , Hold , Interception , Three and out , or Sack ?

    A " F.H.I.T.S " ? or a J'Marcus ?

True. But they can win in other ways. They are 6-3, their only losses coming from 2 division leaders (including the undefeated Packers), and the Lions, who we paid back in full.

Is there any chance the OL blows up in our face with the injury to Chris Williams?
