he has singlehandedly won games for us and changed the game how special teams are coached and what type of players are drafted thanks to what he has added to the game. Anyone who changes the game should be considered as a HOF.

I agree. Not only is he lightyears beyond anyone that plays his position, but he is a game plan changer. If one person can affect an opponents game plan the way hester does then they should be up for consideration.

Prisco's argument apparently is that he's 11,000 yards behind Mitchell. I argued I'll take TDs over yards anyday.

of course he will have more yards then Hester noone was scared enough that mitchel would take it to the house. With Hester you have smart coaches who have kicked it out of bounds all game cause Hester is a GAME CHANGER. That should be taken into account why Hester has less yards so feck him and his opinion

Beat me to it Gamma. If your talking KO yards on a defensive team that will be hard to get numbers. Realistically Hester can play 5-7 more years at a high level. What will the numbers be THEN?!

IMO, Hester should be in the HOF, but as he is a specialized role, he may not get in. However, there is hope that he will. Especially since he is lightyears ahead of anyone else at his position.
To me, a kick returner in football is like a closer in baseball. For years, people have said that a closer will never make the HOF. Well, recently one was voted in. He will get into the HOF especially if he continues returning kicks. I haven no doubt that he will get to 20 returns in his career. Shit, he may get that this year.

He's really close to one of those "perfect games" where every block and read go just right and he returns a few punts and a TD every time and a kickoff then it will be one of those one for the ages moments. Having the record and moments like that it would be hard to keep him out of the hall.
