    It's good that he is finally getting some recognition. I remember as recent as last year people were calling for him to retire.

    Me too kegger and thanks for the post up.

    He's just so cool and matter of fact. Rome tried to get him to rise to the bait a few times and he just deflects him with good straight forward answers. Peanut is definitely one of the best "football players" we ever had. Maybe not the most gifted but 100% a born player.

    In every ear there have been guys like him that I just thought were great Bears even though they weren't the face of the team like Bukus or Payton and Singletary. I put Peanut in with the Doug Buffones, the Jim Osbornes, the Matt Suheys, Neal Andersons, Mike Browns and guys like that. Not stars and not paid like stars but just damn good football players who never bitched and just went out and did their job as well as they knew how.
