LOL, well let me put it this way. At least Webb is keeping the DE's at bay. True he's been getting some help over there but when the only other option is OMG I'd consider it a minor miracle just for the fact that we don't have him playing LT again this year.
When I say that we have to sign an experienced vet OT in the offseason it's Webb who I expect him to challenge, not Carimi. Unless Webb is a complete failure, which so far he hasn't been, I can't see Tice coming of his stance that Carimi would be a good LT but he'll be a great RT.
There should be few FA OT's who can play LT at least that well to give Webb some competition for the spot. Lacking that as long as Spencer seems as comfortable as he does at RG maybe giving Louis a shot at LT isn't a bad thought. He really isn't the current prototype size for an OT but he's pretty quick out of the blocks and when he gets his hands into a guy he can stonewall them pretty good.
But that's more of an emergency move to me. We really need to get a better LT and let Louis and Carimi man the right side of the line. As physical as those two are Forte can gain a thousand yards a season just running behind them.
