I'd call missing two or three weeks at this juncture something to be concerned about wouldn't you? The schedule is a little easier but these aren't lay down games coming up. Still gotta play 60 minutes of football and as much as I like Hanie I'd much rather see Cutler leading the charge. We keep this streak alive and we sail into the playoffs in just a few weeks.
You know the Lions are gonna lose on Thursday so we're a game up if we keep winning.

i wouldnt say we "cant catch a break," since weve had plenty of breaks this season.
But yeah...if hes injured and out for any length of time...we are in troubs.

I think the defense, special teams and Forte can help us get to 3-1 in the AFC west games. Honestly, its a great possibility. Hanie just has to play smart. its gonna be ugly, but the Bears CAN do it.

Unfortunately, the problem is other teams wont be scared of Hanie. Thats a problem for Forte, since they will most likely be stacked up against the run most of the time, and Hanie is going to have to beat them through the air. If he can do that, even in small doses like he did in the NFCC game, it should open up the playbook for Forte to do his thing.

I meant on the injury front. Carimi, CWill already out in the line. Bennett missing half the season. Wootton just now getting back in the lineup today and now Mannelly and Cutler. Nice win but if either is out for a while it was costly.

ah. yeah, injuries do suck, but they are part of the game, every team has them.

If Cutler is out every team will do just what Dago did today. Stuff the running game and force Hanie to win it through the air. Denver is an easy team to run on but not quite so easy to pass against so if Cutler can't play what should have been a relatively easy games gets much harder. Cutler is just staring to get into a good rythym with his guys so I hope he can play with the break.

True but this one could be tougher to suck up than any of the others. Today was pretty much all Cutler.

Thats what im thinking. Its very possible that Hanie could help the Bears get to 2-1 over the next 3 weeks.
