Here's hoping he recovers fully...and Quickly. Let's go Hanie!
It's tough to hear but looking at the schedule doesn't shake me to the core.
ZZ just said Forte or Hester may run Wildcat in emergency situation. Great SUCCESS!!!
Bears have now backtracked. The say no surgery date is set after saying it will take place tomorrow.
I love the Bears but they can be so frustrating with how they handle things sometimes.

From the Dr. article @skjensen posted earlier Jay should be able to start throwing in 3 weeks and will be able to start once the hand feels strong enough.
I'm guessing if we need him in week 17 he'll be in the game.

"ESPN's Rachel Nichols reports that the Bears have "revised" Jay Cutler's (thumb) timeline for return and now believe he could play in Week 16 or 17 of the regular season.
Per Nichols, the Bears became a bit more optimistic after Cutler consulted a hand specialist on Monday morning. Cutler will still require surgery, but his season may not quite be over yet. "They're saying he could be back for the last game, maybe even last two games of the regular season," reported Nichols. Cutler isn't worth hanging onto in standard, 12-team fantasy leagues, but it appears he could be all systems go just before the NFL playoffs."
I still say that we're fucked. Based on what I saw out of Hanie in the preseason, he's an interception machine on par with Favre - only worse, possibly. Man, we had it made last year, and now this season, we are paying the piper. FML!
