Fantastic news he is a great player and finally another good Jerry offensive pick.
My guess is 4 years 12 million/4 guaranteed.

Four-year, $18 million deal that includes $9 million in guarantees according to league source.

Wow, good for Earl more than I thought it would be, but he is a key part of this offense moving forward.
Does anyone know if we get to count some of this money on this season, or did that deadline pass when Garza got his new deal?
Also who is next for an extension?

Great, great news! Happened sooner than I thought. Graham should be next imo.

I believe some of that money counts against this year's cap, though only a relatively small portion.

The deadline has passed but it really doesn't make any difference since we get to carry the 2011 cap excess into 2012 anyway.
Glad to see them getting some key sigining done. Okoye is a guy with a one year deal we need to extend as well. Then of course there's Hanie and I think alot of what he can command will be based on how well he does over these next five weeks. If he proves we can win games they should lock him up with a four year deal too and our QB worries will be over. Imagine that, the Bears without a QB issue, LOL.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

From what I have read Garza contract was the cut off for money this year.
